The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) is a process which enables people that have already completed some recognised training to receive recognition and formal credit for learning acquired in the past through formal study and through work and other life experiences.
The Accreditation of Prior Learning is based on the premise that an individual's learning can be identified and given credit within academic and or professional programmes.
You can claim for learning acquired through previous formal study via a process termed Accreditation of Prior Certificate Learning (or AP(C)L
Like other colleges and higher learning institutes, the UK College of Personal Development has an APL system for some of its programs.
APL Route: NLP Practitioner / Coaching Qualification
If you have a recognised* NLP Practitioner certificate you can APL or "top up" your learning to a full Coaching qualification,
There are 2 options available;

Diploma in Business & Life Coaching. (Recognised by the Association For Coaching)

Diploma In Coaching & Mentoring. (Accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management)
The first option is a professional qualification with the UK's leading coaching professional body, The Association For Coaching. To gain this diploma and add a coaching qualification to your C.V. you will need to:

Attend our NLP Coaching Master Class

Complete 12 hours of documented coaching

A 2000 word reflective essay on the 12 coaching hours. (template provided)
We would also encourage you to attend some NLP Practice Groups and a AC Co-Coaching Forum. These are set up all over the UK, ask us for details.

It is highly recommended that you to attend an NLP Practice Group and an AC Co-Coaching Forum. Peer Review and Supervision are key elements for professional coaches. These groups are set up all over the UK, ask us for details.
